VIRES, Bonnie Sue (nee: Woody), 88, of Morrow, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Bethesda North Hospital. Born on May 8, 1933 to James and Bertha Woody in Spring Creek, NC, Bonnie loved hanging out with friends and playing bingo. She enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings, she is survived by her two sons, Bobby Waddell of Wilmington, Shelby (Jamie) Vires of Batavia, two daughters, Marsha (Perry) Mitchell of Middletown, Martha (Garry) Sizemore of Morrow, 1 sister, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation, Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
