Betty Jean (nee: Howard) Jones, 69, of Jonesville, VA, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Bristol Regional Medical center in Bristol, TN. Born on May 28, 1956 to Ernest and Maxie (nee: Howard) Howard in Wilmington, OH. Preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Jones, two brothers, Melvin Howard and Seldon Howard, two sisters, Caroline Sue Wright and Bernice Henderer, one niece, Tammy Howard and one nephew, Kevin Weisenberger.

She is survived by her sister, Ernestine "Tina" Howard of Wilmington, her step-daughter, Chrissy Williams, step-grandchildren, Morgan and Olivia Williams, nieces and nephews, Shawn Weisenberger, Ben Weisenberger, Rebecca Howard, Seldon Howard, Jr, and Larry Rainey.

Visitation, Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM with the funeral service the following day, Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Interment will follow in Morrow Cemetery.
