Goodknight, Bernard Walter, 87, of Maineville, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Born November 18, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA to Walter and Bernadette (nee: Hess) Goodknight, he was a proud US Navy veteran. He worked as an electrical engineer for General Electric until his retirement in 1988. Bernie is survived by his wife of 64 years, Veta "Nana" Goodknight of Maineville, one son, Dale (Cindy) Goodknight of Glens Falls, NY, two daughters, Sara (Pat) Kneip of Morrow and Carla (Dan Keith) Goodknight of Dover, NH, one sister, Joyce Burkett of Knoxville, TN, 12 grandchildren, Jeff Kneip, Laura (Jake) Smith, Kevin Kneip, Heather Kneip, Jake (Bry) Fritz, Madeline Fritz, Elaina Fritz, Monica Fritz, Dana Goodknight, Max Goodknight, Kara Goodknight, and Nick Goodknight, and great grandchildren, Chloe, Liam, AJ, Romeo, Lorenzo and one on the way in April.
