Barbara Riley (nee Bobanich), of Lebanon, Ohio peacefully passed away on March 30, 2024 and is now resting in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

Barb was born on September 8, 1947 in Columbus, OH and she lead a beautifully full life.  She valued her family above all else. Barb is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Raphael, her dear sister Terri (Bobanich) Gabler, her loving children Michael (Lisa) Riley, Megan (Jason) Coe and Maureen (Bryan) Scahill and cherished grandchildren Andrew, Sam, Abby, Will and Tommy. Barb is preceded in death by her parents William and Helen (Kovach), brothers Robert and William and sister Rosemary.

After graduating from Hartley High School in 1965, Barb received her nursing degree from St. Francis School of Nursing in 1968. Throughout her career at St. Anthonys' Hospital (Columbus, OH) and Mercy Hospital (Fairfield, OH) Barb was an amazing nurse and always treated everyone with kindness, compassion, and respect.

Barb was a gifted seamstress and all-around master crafter. She blessed her family with her wonderful hand-made gifts that will be treasured.  Additionally, she shared her talents with so many others through her many years of volunteer work with Bethesda Hospital, Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, Little Angel Gowns as well as Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.

Barb's family will be receiving friends and family at St. Francis De Sales (20 Desales Ave, Lebanon, OH 45036) on Tuesday April 9th from 10:30-11:00 AM, with a funeral mass at 11:00AM.
