PROFFIT, Anthony Joel, 73, of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Bethesda North Hospital. Born April 17, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH to Elmer and Pauline (nee: Reese) Proffit, he was a 1965 graduate of Lynchburg High School. A member of the Community Christian Fellowship Church in Morrow, he spent 32 years working for Harrison Radiator. Preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, David Sanderson, he is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra (nee: Brewer) Proffit of Clarksville, his three daughters, Sharon Sanderson of Washington Court House, Cindy (Chris) Florio of Springboro, and Tina Proffit of Clarksville, two sisters, Candy (Gary) West and Sandy (David) Patton, both of Georgia, and three grandchildren, Andy Sanderson, Jacob Florio and Isaac Florio. A memorial service will be held at the Community Christian Fellowship Church, 105 Lincoln St, Morrow, OH 45152 on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 7 PM. Visitation will be one hour prior from 6 PM until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made in Anthony's name to the church. Arrangements by the Vale Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow.
