Anne (nee: Peck) Olson, 94, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village in Monroe. Born on October 2, 1929 to Harley and Augusta (nee: Campbell) Peck in Cincinnati, OH, Anne graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1951 with a bachelor's degree in music. Anne was a piano teacher and church organist for many years.

She had a lifelong passion for both opera and classical music, which she shared with friends and family members.  She loved every kind, from solo piano to the big pieces like Beethoven's ninth symphony, but her favorite was Bach.  In addition she enjoyed church hymns, vocal music, popular music, and musicals.  Over the years, she often brought her friends to hear the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and opera.

Also, Anne had a lifelong passion for people.  Relationships were very important to her and making time to bake/cook for and with friends, be part of the walking group at church, meet people for Bible Study or prayer, and just be a welcoming presence in their lives brought her great joy and happiness.

Preceded in death by her husband, Bob Olson, her daughter-in-law, Cindy Olson, three brothers, Lyman Peck, Harley T. Peck and John Peck and one sister, Katherine Kaufman.

She is survived by her two sons, David Olson of Lebanon and Thomas Olson of Noblesville, IN, two grandchildren, Michael (Katrina) Olson and Steven (Abby) Olson, four great-grandchildren, Henry, Amelia, Andrew and Katie.

Visitation, Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Inurnment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
