Anita Oeder

Anita Oeder (née Deaton), age 86, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Traditions of Lebanon.

Born on August 27, 1939, in Beattyville, Kentucky, Anita was the daughter of the late Cord and Elizabeth (née Creech) Deaton. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1955.

Anita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She found happiness in gardening, shopping, and traveling with her beloved husband, Bob. Among their many adventures together, her trips to Israel held a special place in her heart. Anita and Bob were faithful members of Fellowship of Praise Church in Clarksville, where they enjoyed worship and fellowship with their church family.

In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Oeder; her daughter, Beth Oeder; her brothers, Gerald and Darrel Deaton; and her sister, Betty Amburgy.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Jeff (Kimberly) Oeder, Mark (Marie) Oeder, and Mike (Kristy) Oeder; her grandchildren, Joey Oeder, Jason Oeder, Tyler Smallwood, Kayla Lowman, Sarah Heinz, Alyssa Baker, Hannah Mullins, Kalena Kemp, and Rebekah Oeder; and her cherished great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon, all at Fellowship of Praise Church, 8625 U.S. Route 22 & 3, Clarksville, Ohio 45113. Pastor Matt Morgan will officiate. Interment will follow at Morrow Cemetery.
