Alvin Harold Arvio, peacefully passed away at Traditions of Lebanon, Ohio on December 25, 2023, at the age of 90. Born on September 5, 1933, in Chicago, IL, to Alex and Lillian (nee: Senerius) Arvio, Alvin led a rich life marked by significant accomplishments.

An alumnus of the Rochester Institute of Technology, Al served with pride in the United States Army. His passion for knowledge and service defined his character. Beyond his academic and military achievements, Alvin went to work in the Printing Industry starting at a press operator and working his way up to President level of several printing companies.  Al found joy in the simple pleasures of life, with daily long runs and walks to an avid reader cherishing moments spent with his daughters and grandchildren.

Al was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Jo Ellen (nee: Walker) Arvio. He is survived by his daughters, Janis (Steve) Norris of Maineville, OH, and Christy Gordon of Savannah, GA. Al leaves a lasting legacy through his brother, Ron Arvio, and is fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Tyler Norris, Kelsey Norris, and Nicole Norris. Additionally, he maintained a lifelong friendship with Neville Campbell.

In honoring Alvin's memory, the family has decided to hold a private family service at their convenience.
