Allen Dale Wichterman, 77, of Eaton, OH and formerly of the Lebanon area, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. Born September 2, 1945 in New Martinsville, WV to Carl H. and Vivian June (nee: Myers) Wichterman, he was a proud US Army veteran serving in Korea. An avid West Virginia University fan, he was a member of the Eaton VFW Post 8066. He retired from Victory Wholesale Group after many years as the warehouse manager.

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Arbadella "Arby" (nee: Napier) Wichterman, his son, Jerry Dale Wichterman and his brothers Gary and David. He is survived by his one son, Sean Allen (Shannon Barrett) Wichterman,  five daughters, Tami Wichterman Bunn, Kathy June Wichterman (Terry) Gray, Alana Dawn Wichterman (Lance) Cottingim, Annette Strain (Gregory) Owens, and Lisa Raye (Ken Hurst) Strain, his brothers Bill and Lynn, sisters, Wanda, Naomi, and Nina, grandchildren, Shelby, Shayla (Damon) Hurst ,Terra, Carli, Cory, Carter, Jeremy, David Allen (Heather), Christina Annette (Matthew Parker) and Steven Matthew and great- grandchildren Jameson Sean Riley, Killian , Gavin Ray, Devon, Dylan and Troian Cottingim.

Visitation, Monday, October 24, 2022 from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM with funeral service immediately following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment follows in Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon. Pastor Doug Sibcy officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations requested to the Eaton VFW Post 8066, 401 Lexington Ave, Eaton, OH 45320.
