Albert F. Wavle, 83, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Otterbein in Lebanon. Born on October 21, 1942 to Clesson and Marian (nee: Ives) Wavle in Syracuse, NY.

After graduating from Morrisville College and Michigan State University, Al served as a Lieutenant in the Army at Ft. Riley, Kansas. He later established himself as a trusted CPA in Akron, Ohio. For decades, his clients relied not just on his sharp eye for detail, but on the unwavering integrity and honesty that defined his practice.

Al's faith was central to his life, growing up in the Methodist church and deciding to follow Christ in the 5th grade. Over the years, he sought to reflect that faith through action, whether he was leading a Bible study, following up on a prayer request, serving as a liturgist, or sharing a warm meal with those in need. Friends and family will most cherish the memory of Al's humor, his genuine servant's heart, and his lifelong, unapologetic love of chocolate.

Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Douglas Wavle, he is survived by his loving wife, Florence (nee: Rice) Wavle, his daughter, Pam (Chris) Palser of Waynesville, his son, Mark (Christine) Wavle of West Chester, two sisters, Charlotte Forties and Susan Kroft and four grandchildren, Elizabeth and Nathanael Palser and C.J. and José Wavle.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, with a memorial service immediately following at 3:00 PM at the Otterbein Lebanon Chapel. Pastor Dennis Jones officiating. A dessert table will be provided afterward for a time of fellowship and sweets in Al's honor.
