Outland, John William, age 84, of Lebanon, Ohio formerly of Daytona Beach, FL passed away on Saturday July 28, 2012 at Quaker Heights Care Community in Waynesville, Ohio. Born in Stewart County, TN on February 5, 1928 to the late Jordan H. and Gertrude (nee: Knight) Outland, he joins in death his parents, former wife, Doris Downey Outland, brothers Elmo, Howard “Bubby” and Hubert Outland and Roy Knight, and sisters Willa Mae Dawson and Ruth Armstrong. He leaves behind his son Dan (Sylvia) Outland, brother Ronny Outland, sister, Frances Herndon, grandchildren Karyn (John) Woods, Russell (Raquel) Kaercher and Jeffery (Andrea) Kaercher, great grandchildren Kaitlyn Woods, Olivia Woods and Jacob Kaercher. John worked as a project manager for General Mills before retiring in 1980. He was a longtime resident of Henderson, KY from 1951-1969 and Daytona Beach Florida from 1970-2009. He moved to Lebanon, OH in June 2009 to live with his son due to health reasons. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke, KY.
