MAIORANO, Minnie (nee: Scaglione), 92, of Morrow, formerly of New York, died Tuesday March 27, 2012. Born August 31, 1919 in Northvale, NJ to Dominick and Theresa (nee: Chiafulio) Scaglione, she was a dedicated wife and mother. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Michael J. Maiorano, a sister, Rose Scaglione and one brother, Dominick Scaglione, she is survived by her two sons, Thomas (Rosemarie) Maiorano and Michael E. (Gertrude) Maiorano, both of Pearl River, NY, one daughter, Theresa (William) Fitzgerald of Morrow, OH, three brothers, Philip Scaglione of Midland Park, NJ, Joseph Scaglione of Norwood, NJ, and John “Sharkey” Scaglione of Northvale, NJ, one sister, Connie Capobianco of Norwood, NJ, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday March 30, 2012 from 7-9 PM with a prayer service at 9 PM, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Memorials requested to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Mass and burial will take place in Pearl River NY.
