Gary Robert Brandenburg, 71, a lifetime Morrow resident, died Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Bethesda North Hospital. Born in Morrow on May 10, 1940 to Chester & Wilma (nee: Corwin) Brandenburg, he was a graduate of Little Miami High School and a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Brandenburg owned & operated an auto repair shop called Nuts & Bolts and worked on the family farm for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jane (nee: Motz) Brandenburg, one son, Gary R. Brandenburg Jr. (Sharon) of Lebanon, two daughters, Vicki Brandenburg of Morrow and Linda Socia (Keith) of Williamsburg, two sisters, Janine Davidson of Goshen and Sue Binder of Hebron, KY, five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 5th, 5-7:00 PM, with the funeral service immediately following, all at Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. A graveside service will take place Tuesday, March 6th, 10:00 AM, at the Morrow Cemetery.
