Choosing a memorial organization There are often times in our lives that our minds are boggled by the many decisions that need to be made. Making funeral arrangements for someone we love is one of those times. One decision that often perplexes families is where they would like donations in memory of their loved to be given.
The choice of where those donations be given is just as personal a decision as the choice of casket, music, flowers and clothing. Often, the organization that is chosen has played an important part in the life of the deceased. Some individuals choose their church, or an organization in which they were active. Others choose an organization that helped support them through a battle with an illness or the organization that needs funds to find a cure for a specific disease. We have families that request that funds be donated toward the funeral costs, and others let the choice be made by the individuals making the donations. Donation envelopes are always available at the visitation and funeral of your loved one. |
